1. Rooted deeply in our Founders' Principles, I will fight to DEFEND THE PRIVATE PROPERTY RIGHTS of all citizens of El Paso County.
   
2. I will RESPECTFULLY listen and respond to YOU, the business owners, farmers, ranchers, military members and veterans, land owners, families, citizens of this county; tirelessly serving you and dedicating myself to everyone while providing the leadership you expect and deserve.
   
3. As a fiscal conservative, I support the principles of TABOR and trust the citizens of El Paso County to decide on future tax questions and I will never support a tax by calling it a fee.
   
4. I will work to improve, maintain and preserve all county ROADS and BRIDGES understanding their tremendous impact on the daily lives of the citizens of this county.
   
5. I will prioritize PUBLIC SAFETY, working to provide a safe environment for families and citizens as well as those who serve and protect us.
   
6. I will work to improve long term PLANNING POLICY AND LAND DEVELOPMENT, protecting our present and future generations from the threat of WATER depletion and unmanaged growth.
   
7. I will work with the SHERIFF'S OFFICE to ensure they have the resources available to enforce current IMMIGRATION LAWS and protect your tax dollars from illegal aliens.
   
8. I support the reinvestment of OUR FEDERAL TAX DOLLARS - bringing as many of our hard earned dollars BACK into our county as possible.
   
9. I will LEAD my colleagues in an effort to achieve the PEOPLES' PRIORITIES while advocating and collaborating with other local government entities.
   
10. I will hold myself accountable to YOU, the employers of the Board of County Commissioners, serving with an open door, fiscal restraint and responsible, respectful dedication .
